Coffee Martini recipe for your New Year enjoyment.

MARTINIS FOR THE SOPHISTICATED TYPE:

Coffee / Espresso martini recipe "The Shakes."
It's presentable, high in alcohol and caffeine-rich enough to kick off a long night of partying.
  • Prep Time: 8 minutes
  • Cook Time: 2 minutes
  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:
  • 2 Ounces of vodka
  • 1 Ounce of very strong drip brewed coffee or espresso
  • 1/2 Ounce of Kahlua
  • 3 Coffee beans
Preparation:
Combine the vodka, drip coffee, and Kahlua in a cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake and strain into a martini glass, and garnish with the coffee beans.
Mint Chocolate Coffee Martini
Tastes like it sounds (sweet with sneak-up alcohol), and is easy to make.

  • Total Time: 8 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:
  • 1 Ounce of chocolate-mint cocktail mix
  • 1 Ounce of vodka
  • 1/2 Ounce of Kahlua or other coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 Ounce of strong drip brewed coffee
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.  Shake, strain and serve in a martini glass.
